This vibrant Night Kollel was founded over 10 years ago and is located in the Chestnut Shul in Lakewood. This Night Kollel has grown tremendously over the years and we now have 2 main programs learning nightly. One is led by R’ Eytan Aviv and is comprised of a group of dedicated and serious yungerleit. There is a strong focus on learning the sugyos down to Halacha L’maysa. In addition, there is a structured Chazara and Bechina program in place to ensure that the learning is retained. The other nightly program is led by R' Daniel Langer and is comprised of a group a dedicated yungerleit that are paired up to learn with balei batim. R' Daniel Langer also delivers an exciting weekly Chumash shiur that is attended by men and boys of all ages.

Not only is this Night Kollel a serious Night Seder for it’s group of yungerleit, but it has also impacted the entire Chestnut (Lakewood) community in a profound way. The Night Kollel brings a tremendous atmosphere into the shul each night creating a Ruach of a Beis Medrash not only for the Kollel, but for others in the Chestnut and surrounding communities looking for a beautiful place to learn at night.

The Rav of the community, R' Yosef Greenfeld, gives a shiur 2 nights a week in the shul. There is also a nightly Daf Yomi Shiur given by R' Yosef Josilowsky. The Night Kollel brings a sense of Shmira each night to the community and to those supporting it.

Kollel Zichron Aryeh is named after Dr. Aryeh Dunoff Z"l who lived a life of Torah and Chesed truly transforming the level of yiddishkeit in his community of Northeast Philadelphia.
